In 2025, the National Aerobatic Patrol “Frecce Tricolori” reaches the milestone of 65 years of operation. With their ten aircraft (nine plus the soloist), the Italian pilots have thrilled millions of spectators around the world, combining spectacle, precision, and national pride in every performance.

To celebrate this anniversary, Locman – an Elban watchmaking brand, long tied to the armed forces and known for its collaborations with the Navy and the Air Force – presents the Aviatore Frecce Tricolori 65th Anniversary, a timepiece in a limited edition of 650 pieces that blends aeronautical spirit with Italian craftsmanship.

The design is inspired by the instrument panels of historic aircraft, featuring a sunray blue dial with a strong visual impact. Large Arabic numerals and baton hands, coated with Super-Luminova, ensure impeccable readability in any lighting condition. A distinctive touch is the arrow-shaped central second hand, customized with the colors of the tricolor, while the number “65” stands out on the rehaut at the five-minute mark, in homage to the celebratory season.

At 12 o'clock, the Turreted Eagle, symbol of the Air Force, takes pride of place, while the official Frecce Tricolori logo with the three stylized arrows is located at 6 o'clock. The assembly is protected by a curved crystal screen-printed with indices and the “Locman Italy” brand, set in a conical satin-finished steel bezel.

The ergonomic, 44 mm diameter case is made of AISI stainless steel and guarantees water resistance up to 10 ATM. The titanium caseback is enriched by a mineral crystal screen-printed with the full Patrol logo, which allows for viewing the SIO (Scuola Italiana di Orologeria) automatic caliber movement, characterized by a blue tungsten oscillating weight, color-coordinated with the dial.

In addition to the polished steel version, the watch is also available with a blue PVD coating, resistant to scratches and abrasions thanks to a high-quality treatment. Both configurations are paired with a padded natural leather strap, which adds a touch of elegance without sacrificing a sporty character.
