These revolutionary timepieces are a study in metalwork. The case and bezel are crafted from super-hard Ti64-based titanium alloy, while the band is made from another special titanium alloy, DAT55G, three times harder than pure titanium and highly workable. The top of the bezel is made of COBARION®, a cobalt-chromium alloy four times harder than pure titanium. The bezel alone is comprised of 25 different components, each individually polished for a stunning, detailed texture. The cutting-edge Multi-Guard Structure incorporates flat springs and silicone buffers on the multi-component bezel, ensuring exceptional shock absorption to protect the dedicated MR-G module with a gold-plated retaining plate. The MRG-B5000D features hairline and mirror finishes and a titanium carbide coating for an exquisitely polished silver look. Both watch dials feature an iconic brick pattern and a red line, reminiscent of the original design. These metal beauties are also packed with functionality, such as radio-controlled calibration and smartphone pairing via Bluetooth®.
