The time of style
For years, Oris has been experimenting with the use of bronze in its diving watches. Today, for the first time, the independent Swiss watchmaking company has enriched the high-performance Big Crown ProPilot Big Date model with a touch of elegance by offering it with a bronze case. The warm tones of the new version derive from the bronze case, the fluted bezel and the characteristic oversized crown; the ensemble is completed by a deep black dial with gold-colored printed indexes. This is a true pilot's watch, featuring hands with white Super LumiNova® inserts and applied indexes made of robust Super LumiNova® to create a strong contrast and excellent readability. The refined aesthetic is finished with a durable green Ventile® strap featuring Oris's famous "Lift" clasp, also in bronze, a device inspired by the seat belt buckles of passenger planes. As in every Oris, the watch is powered by a highly reliable Swiss Made mechanical movement. In this case, the movement is a precision automatic with a large, oversized date display.
