The Blue Planet project achieved international fame by winning the2021 Challenge Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), one of the most prestigious awards in the watchmaking industry, often referred to as the “Oscars of watchmaking”. With this award, CIGA Design has becomethe first Chinese brand to win a GPHG, marking a historic moment for contemporary watchmaking.

The distinctive feature of theBlue Planet IIIt's a three-dimensional dial depicting the Earth. Crafted with high-precision CNC machining, the central globe reproduces continents and oceans in exquisite detail, offering a symbolic representation of our planet directly on the wrist.

The time is read using an innovative mechanical system calledAsynchronous Follow Technology, which synchronizes the rotation of the globe with the minute and hour displays. This mechanism allows the time to be read from a single reference point on the dial, creating a unique and fascinating user experience.

From a technical point of view, the Blue Planet II models are equipped withmechanical automatic movementwith about40 hours of power reserve, sapphire crystal, and cases available in materials such as steel, titanium, or ceramic.
