Today, the Big Crown Pointer Date is taking center stage with the most significant new version in its illustrious history. The updated 38 mm model is powered by Calibre 403, a high-performance automatic movement from Oris's in-house Calibre 400 Series. Calibre 403, which previously appeared in the 2021 Hölstein Edition, produced in a run of 250 pieces, is featured in the Oris collection for the first time with two complications: a small seconds and a pointer date.

Like every movement in the Calibre 400 Series, Calibre 403 is highly anti-magnetic, features a 5-day power reserve, a 10-year warranty, and recommended 10-year service intervals (register with MyOris to extend the warranty to 10 years). Its accuracy of -3/+5 seconds per day is equivalent to that of a chronometer.
