Co-created as a timepiece born from a shared fascination with the cosmos. Successor to the award-winning Blue Planet , which celebrated the beauty of Earth, Black Star now turns its gaze outward—toward the unknown.

The project explores contrasts: from life to emptiness, from balance to gravity, from the familiar to infinity. At the center of the dial, an 8.50 mm Super Black well evokes a black hole, absorbing light like time collapsing into space.

Around it, spiraling stars in shades of blue and white trace the movement of a distant galaxy. Above, a luminous hand shaped like the North Star orbits silently, indicating a direction that defies gravity and charts its own path.

A dial shaped by cosmic tension

The Black Star dial is a miniature universe crafted with extreme precision. At its center, a CNC -machined cavity inspired by black holes, coated with the ultra-high light-absorbing Super Black material, creates a deep visual void. Around it, thin blue spirals and scattered white stars evoke the movement of a distant galaxy. Above this cosmic landscape orbits a luminous hand in the shape of the North Star , guiding the reader through the darkness.

Powered by the Swiss Made CD-04-S caliber, an evolution of the original Blue Planet I movement, this timepiece combines precision engineering and reliability. The redesigned gear ratios allow the hour wheel to rotate 30° while the dynamic minute ring rotates 390° , all from a single reference point. This unconventional display challenges traditional watchmaking codes and offers a truly unique timekeeping experience on the wrist.
