The Astron GPS Solar SSJ015J1 is one of the world's most advanced wristwatches. It features a new GPS Solar movement, the caliber 3X62, whose improved reception of solar signals has increased the watch's accuracy. The watch features a black dial with a pattern reminiscent of the quartz crystals used to create the tuning forks of the original Quartz Astron introduced by Seiko in 1969. The black carbonized titanium case and bracelet have a super-hard, scratch-resistant coating. The indexes and hands are coated with Lumibrite, making them easy to read in all viewing conditions.
