In 1968, Seiko launched a revolutionary new innovation with the world's first hi-beat diver's watch. With a case design inspired by the original 1968 model, and bearing the name "Marinemaster" from Seiko's dive watch heritage, this new re-interpretation maintains the same 300m water resistance.
Underneath a dual-curved sapphire glass is a black dial with a delicate sand-like pattern. Designed for high contrast underwater, every aspect is optimised for diving conditions: a streamlined case, with the crown in a comfortable 4 o'clock position, strong Lumibrite for legibility in the darkest depths and a unidirectional rotating bezel to ISO diving standard.
