The G-SHOCK GMW-BZ5000 ushers in a new era for the 5000 line, a direct evolution of the original G-SHOCK. It retains the original's iconic shape but introduces a completely redesigned full-metal construction: the stainless steel case extends all the way to the lugs to minimize shock transmission, while a high-strength resin inner protector absorbs shock while ensuring G-SHOCK standards of robustness. The modern lines on the sides enhance the complexity and beauty of its design.

The high-definition MIP LCD display has been optimized to consume less power and work seamlessly with the solar charging system. It offers eight display styles, with high readability even in direct sunlight thanks to its high contrast and wide viewing angle.

On the features front, the GMW-BZ5000 integrates Bluetooth for connection to the CASIO WATCHES app, Multiband 6 for automatic time adjustment, high-brightness LED illumination and Tough Solar technology for virtually continuous battery life.
