Strap Length: Discover the guide.

Some have taught us to read time in straight lines—fixed hours, disciplined minutes.
But time was never meant to be read so simply. It moves, overlaps, and reveals itself slowly.

Time Cipher was born from this idea: time is not announced, but deciphered—through movement, alignment, and attention. On a dial that absorbs almost all light, movement becomes the only clue. A unique, specially designed shape cuts through the darkness, tracing the minutes in a silent orbit, as the rotating hour gradually reveals itself.

The polished indexes capture the light like signals at the edge of perception, suspended within a newly designed case: minimal, thin and balanced.

On the wrist, the Time Cipher appears composed and measured: a watch defined not by what it immediately displays, but by what it reveals to those who take the time to look at it.

The wandering hour display originated in the 17th century as a night clock made by the Campani brothers for Pope Alexander VII . This system later spread to pocket watches and, centuries later, was taken up by some independent, avant-garde watchmakers. This solution revolutionized the way we read time, shifting attention from a simple static display to movement as an expressive form, allowing time to unfold across the dial.

Today, many examples of this complication focus primarily on mechanical spectacle: complex satellite systems, layered structures, and imposing, theatrical cases, often designed more to dazzle than for everyday use. Time Cipher retains the principle of wandering hours but strips it down to the essentials, distilling this horological language into a single, minimalist and subtle gesture, making the complication immediate, legible, and perfectly wearable every day.

At the center of the dial, a unique mobile system tracks the minutes as it moves; along the same trajectory, an hour disc rotates calmly and is readable via a fixed indicator. The minute arm features a partial skeletonization decorated with Côtes de Genève and refined chamfers, while the hour disc combines openwork with polished accents and satin finishes. The numerals are treated with Swiss Super-LumiNova , ensuring excellent readability even in the dark. At the opposite end of the indicator, a micro-sandblasted counterweight perfectly balances the axis.

All this is housed within a Super Black dial, capable of absorbing 99.3% of light. In this context, the moving system appears suspended, emerging from the darkness without visual distractions. The raised minute markers, finely engraved using CNC machining, surround the shadow, capturing the light and framing the movement. The design brings the “cipher” to the center of attention through the purity of its forms, inviting us to decipher the time rather than simply read it.
