In 1967 , DOXA launched the revolutionary concept of the SUB , considered the first diving watch specifically designed for a wider audience. The radical innovations it introduced at that time quickly made it the benchmark for professionals as well. Water-resistant to 30 bar , corresponding to approximately 300 metres of depth , it was the first to feature a unidirectional rotating bezel with a double scale for depth and dive time, useful for calculating a safe ascent without the need for decompression stops. The most radical innovation: the orange dial, which significantly improved readability underwater.

The SUB 300 case has a diameter of 42.5 mm and is crafted from the highest quality 316L stainless steel . The three-hand, self-winding movement is COSC Chronometer certified, a guarantee of precision, robustness and reliability, with a power reserve of 38 hours . The date window is positioned at 3 o'clock . The SUB 300 naturally features the famous, patented DOXA unidirectional rotating bezel with the dual indication of dive time in minutes and depth in meters for calculating non-decompression dive times. Equipped with a screw-lock crown , it is water-resistant to a depth of 300 meters , approximately 980 feet .

In homage to its heritage , the SUB 300 now features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, which retains the domed plexiglass shape of the original 1967 model. All diving-related markings are treated with Super-LumiNova® , to ensure optimal readability in low-light conditions.
