The Midori Sour
The Midori Sour is a "sweet & sour" long drink characterized by a hypnotic phosphorescent green thanks to Midori, a Japanese Yūbari melon liqueur with a sweet flavor balanced by the acidity of the lemon which enhances its freshness.
Midori, with its name chosen by Suntory of Osaka, one of the oldest alcoholic beverage production and distribution companies in the Land of the Rising Sun, was officially launched in Tokyo in 1971 on the occasion of the international bartending championship.
Midori, whose name means "green" in Japanese, is perfect both as an aperitif and as a drink to enjoy before or after dinner.
