Today, the Big Crown Pointer Date is taking centre stage with the most significant new iteration in its illustrious history. The updated 38 mm model is powered by Calibre 403, a high-performance automatic movement from Oris’s in-house Calibre 400 Series. Calibre 403, which first appeared in the 2021 Hölstein Edition of 250 pieces, is featured in the Oris collection for the first time with two complications: a small seconds and a pointer date.
Like every movement in the Calibre 400 Series, Calibre 403 is highly anti-magnetic, comes with a 5-day power reserve, a 10-year warranty and 10-year recommended service intervals (sign up to MyOris to extend the warranty to ten years). Its precision of -3/+5 seconds per day is chronometer-level.
