The 38.00mm Big Crown Pointer Date is one of our most versatile models. Featuring the iconic pointer date function and a midnight blue dial, it is now also available with an H-link metal bracelet with an ergonomic buckle developed by Oris.
The first Big Crown Pointer Date appeared in 1938 and has since become a mainstay of the collection and an icon of Swiss watch design. This version is powered by our Calibre 403, an automatic with five days of power reserve created for today's global citizens.

Today, the Big Crown Pointer Date is taking centre stage with the most significant new iteration in its illustrious history. The updated 38 mm model is powered by Calibre 403, a high-performance automatic movement from Oris’s in-house Calibre 400 Series. Calibre 403, which first appeared in the 2021 Hölstein Edition of 250 pieces, is featured in the Oris collection for the first time with two complications: a small seconds and a pointer date.
Like every movement in the Calibre 400 Series, Calibre 403 is highly anti-magnetic, comes with a 5-day power reserve, a 10-year warranty and 10-year recommended service intervals (sign up to MyOris to extend the warranty to ten years). Its precision of -3/+5 seconds per day is chronometer-level.
