Sustainable deer leather strap made by Cervo Volante, a company founded in 2017 by Kadri Vunder Fontana, a biotechnological engineer and experienced entrepreneur, and Conny Thiel-Egenter, a biologist specialising in nature conservation and habitat management.
Material: Deerskin sourced from waste products
Characteristics: The skins retain the natural imperfections acquired by the deer during its life
Origin: The skins are not from farms and require no chemical treatments
Tanning: Cervo Volante works with the last two Swiss tanneries that use 100% vegetable tanning processes
Sustainability: Recovery of skins that would otherwise simply be burned
Production: Low-impact handcrafted items, with a special focus on sustainability
