The five new KING SEIKOs share a bold and refined design, yet linear and comfortable to wear, inspired by the 1965 KSK and the result of extreme research into functionality and practicality of use. The combination of a flat dial with faceted indexes and large razor blade hands gives the watch a refined and striking character. The powerful faceted lugs have sharp corners and large flat surfaces, with mirrored and brushed finishes, creating a three-dimensional effect. The index at twelve o'clock, more than double the width of the others, has a specially designed patterned texture to ensure high readability and give the dial an attention-grabbing shine. The three-dimensional indices are applied with diamond-cut workmanship that resonates beautifully with the sunray-finished dial. The case is designed in such a way that when combined with the box-shaped sapphire crystal, it gives this watch a slim and elegant feel. An anti-reflective coating on the inner surface of the glass ensures excellent readability from all angles. The flat bracelet pays homage to the design of the original King Seiko series and features an alternating scratched and mirror finish: its numerous beveled surfaces reflect light in a dynamic and ever-changing way. Powered by the caliber 6R31, the watch has a 70-hour power reserve and is waterproof to 100 meters.
