Born from the collaboration with TRADMAN'S BONSAI, the renowned creative studio founded by Teppei Kojima, this limited edition model celebrates the meeting between the traditional Japanese art of bonsai and Seiko's watchmaking excellence. Made in only 2,000 numbered pieces worldwide, the timepiece stands out for its dial inspired by the bark of an ancient black pine illuminated by the moon. The sophisticated three-dimensional workmanship reproduces the texture and sinuous shapes of the bark, while the Matsuba-iro shade, a traditional Japanese green associated with prosperity and good omen, gives depth and character to the whole. The 38 mm case with yellow gold IP treatment encloses the automatic 6R51 caliber with 72 hours of power reserve. The design is completed by an additional leather strap, whose inner lining features a pattern inspired by the leaves of the three-needle pine, a traditional symbol of luck in Japanese culture.
