In 1968, Seiko introduced a revolutionary innovation with the world's first hi-beat diver’s watch. With a case design inspired by the original 1968 model and bearing the name "Marinemaster" from Seiko's tradition of producing diving watches, this new reinterpretation maintains the same water resistance of 300 meters.

Beneath a dual-curved sapphire crystal lies a white dial with a delicate sand-like texture. Designed for high contrast underwater, every aspect is optimized for diving conditions: a streamlined case with the crown comfortably positioned at 4 o’clock, strong Lumibrite for readability in the darkest depths, and a unidirectional rotating bezel following ISO diving standards.

Specifically designed for divers, the 8L35 caliber is a highly precise, reliable, and robust movement. Manufactured at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio in the Iwate Prefecture of Japan, this caliber boasts an accuracy of +15/-10 seconds per day with a power reserve of 50 hours.
