The golden signature

Rooted in Venice's luminous heritage, this warm hue recalls the way light has always transformed the city's architecture into reflections and atmosphere. Its radiant character echoes a long tradition of decorative arts, from gold details to shimmering mosaics capable of capturing and diffusing light. On the Utopia II dial, this surface amplifies the engraved pattern, allowing the guilloché to come to life as the light flows over the waves. The result is a dial of extraordinary depth and warmth, where texture and luminosity merge in an ever-changing visual experience.

The ancient art of guilloche

To create the dials, we relied on one of the last workshops still capable of practicing traditional guilloché in its most authentic form. A rare art, surviving thanks to a handful of masters and historic machines operated exclusively by hand, where each incision is born from a slow, precise, and irreversible gesture. Line after line, micron after micron, the metal is sculpted without the possibility of correction, in a constant dialogue between hand, material, and light. The result is not a simple decoration, but a living, deep surface, capable of changing with the angle of observation and making each dial unique.

Cal. V5001

The V5001 is the evolution of the V5000, retaining its technical architecture while introducing a superior level of finishing. Designed and crafted entirely in Italy, it offers 60 hours of power reserve within a thickness of just 3.5 mm, with precision regulated to ±3 seconds per day. It features double balance wheels and 24k galvanic gold-plated bridges and plate, complemented by radial Côtes de Genève motifs and fine circular graining. Designed for long-term stability, it features a variable-inertia beryllium copper balance with four masselottes, a double-anchored balance cock, and the KIF Elastor anti-shock system.
