With the new Artelier Date 38 mm collection, Oris brings its interpretation of a contemporary elegant watch to the forefront, completely redesigned for a new generation of Swiss Made mechanical enthusiasts.

This is not simply the return of the historic Artelier line, but a true stylistic and design evolution that focuses on balance, visual clarity, and everyday versatility.

A more modern and versatile dress watch

The new Artelier collection was born with a very clear philosophy: to create an elegant watch that is less rigid than traditional classic dress watches.

The compact proportions of the 38mm case, the slim 10.9mm thickness, and the sleek design allow the Artelier Date to perfectly adapt to both formal use and a more relaxed everyday context.

The dial has been deliberately simplified to offer immediate and clean readability. Applied indices, slightly textured surfaces, and a discreet date window at 6 o'clock create a refined yet extremely contemporary aesthetic.

The project signed by a new generation of designers

One of the most interesting aspects of the new Artelier line concerns the creative approach adopted by Oris.

The project was led by 24-year-old designer Lena Huwiler, with the aim of reinterpreting the concept of an elegant watch in a way that is closer to contemporary tastes.

The result is a timepiece that maintains all the mechanical tradition of the Swiss brand, but with a more essential, ergonomic, and transversal aesthetic language.

There is no exaggerated nostalgic pursuit: the Artelier Date looks forward, while maintaining the classic refinement that has always characterized the collection.

Automatic movement and visible Red Rotor

Like every Oris creation, the new Artelier Date also exclusively uses an automatic mechanical movement.

Inside the case beats the Oris 733 caliber, equipped with automatic winding, hacking seconds, and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. The movement operates at 4 Hz and remains visible through the transparent case back with the famous Oris Red Rotor, one of the brand's symbolic elements.

A choice consistent with the brand's philosophy, which has always focused exclusively on Swiss Made mechanical watchmaking.

Three variants with different characters

The collection is offered in three color configurations: dark blue, white, and chocolate brown.

The blue version appears to be the most contemporary and versatile, while the white one emphasizes the more classic and elegant side of the collection. The chocolate brown dial, on the other hand, introduces a warmer and more sophisticated tone, perfectly in line with current trends in premium watchmaking.

Each model can be chosen with a leather strap or with the new multi-piece steel bracelet with a very fluid and modern design.

An important return for the Artelier collection

With this new Artelier generation, Oris demonstrates how it is possible to reinterpret the dress watch without turning it into a nostalgic exercise.

The clean dial, extremely balanced proportions, and strong focus on ergonomics make the new Artelier Date an elegant watch truly designed to be worn every day.

It is a very current approach, focusing less on ostentation and more on design quality, mechanics, and versatility.
