Casio Edifice marks a new milestone in its history with the launch of the EFK-100 collection, the first watch with an automatic mechanical movement produced by the renowned Japanese brand. This model represents a true breakthrough, the fruit of over fifty years of experience in watchmaking and technology, and symbolizes Casio's entry into the world of mechanics, without sacrificing its historic philosophy of "democratic excellence": accessible, reliable, and high-quality watches.

A natural evolution for an iconic brand

Casio has been a pioneer in the digital watch revolution since 1974, and today, with the EFK-100, it demonstrates that innovation can also mean reviving and reinterpreting mechanical tradition. The new Edifice collection introduces a high-quality automatic movement, combining the allure of the mechanism visible through the transparent caseback with a solid and durable construction, perfect for those who love to wear a timepiece that speaks of history and technology.

Technical features and refined design

The EFK-100 line includes five models with a refined aesthetic. The case and bracelet are made of solid stainless steel, while sapphire crystal protects the dial from scratches and wear. The watch is water resistant to 10 bar (approximately 100 meters), making it ideal for sports or everyday use. The automatic movement guarantees a power reserve of approximately 41 hours, ensuring precision and reliability.

The dial features a double-level design with three-dimensional indexes and pencil-shaped hands, enhanced with luminescent inserts for perfect readability even in the dark. The satin-finished bezel and bracelet with alternating polished and satin finishes give the watch an elegant and contemporary profile.

The innovation of forged carbon

Two models in the collection, the EFK-100CD and the EFK-100XPB, stand out for their dials made of forged carbon, a highly technological and sophisticated material. This is produced using a process that combines carbon fiber and resin under high pressure and temperature, creating unique surfaces with unrepeatable patterns and textures.

The EFK-100XPB is particularly special: with its all-black look, it combines a forged carbon case and dial with an ultra-soft urethane strap, designed for maximum comfort. This model will be available in a limited edition, catering to a niche of enthusiasts seeking an exclusive and refined timepiece.

A range of colours for all tastes

In addition to the models with forged carbon dials, the collection offers three variants with colored dials in blue, green, and white. Here, the carbon effect is reproduced through an electroforming technique that gives the dials a sophisticated and luminous texture, perfect for those seeking a balance between technical innovation and chromatic style.
