Among the most anticipated new releases from Eberhard & Co. is the Chronographe 1887 Édition Limitée ref. 31081 CP , a masterpiece produced in just 250 numbered pieces . A model that blends the elegance of the past with the technical sophistication of the present.
A tribute to history
The 1887 collection, created to celebrate the Maison's founding year, is a journey through the evolution of the chronograph. For this project, Eberhard drew inspiration from the iconic models housed in its museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds, reinterpreting their lines and details with a contemporary language.
Excellent mechanics
The beating heart of the 31081 CP Sempra is the caliber EB 280 , developed in collaboration with Manufacture AMT. This manually wound movement features a column wheel and a flyback function—the “return to flight” function created in the 1930s for pilots. The sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement's sophisticated architecture and the innovative system with a reset button integrated into the crown.
The salmon dial: an unmistakable touch
What makes this edition truly unique is the elegant and sophisticated salmon dial , which integrates a spiral tachometric scale and a telemetric scale. A nod to the past with a very contemporary style. The harmoniously shaped steel case, the vintage crown, and the counters with differentiated hands enhance the retro soul, balanced by a refined modernity.
A collector's jewel
The Chronographe 1887 Salmon Dial is not just a timepiece, but a symbol of Eberhard & Co.'s identity: authenticity, solidity, and innovation. With only 250 pieces available worldwide , it is destined to become a cult object for enthusiasts and collectors.
