Eberhard & Co. renews its connection with tradition by presenting CONTODAT , a completely new collection that reinterprets a historic model from the 1970s. The range is divided into two versions, Automatic and Chronographe , both featuring a 39 mm steel case, integrated bracelet and orange details that recall the original design.
The inspiration stems from a crucial period in Swiss watchmaking, when the Maison chose to focus on a mechanical chronograph with a bold character, in the midst of the quartz revolution. Today, that spirit returns in compact forms, alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces, and dials with sunburst and azuré finishes, capable of changing intensity in the light.
The CONTODAT Chronographe is available in four variations—blue, green, and two silver-toned versions—while the Automatic version expands the choice with five colors, adding gray and black. Both configurations adopt the trapezoidal date display, an emblematic aesthetic element of the historic model, faithfully reproduced in a modern key.
Details such as the rhodium-plated multi-level hands , the luminescent core and the integrated bracelet with 2CLICK® clasp contribute to making the collection solid, comfortable and visually harmonious. On the case back, the engraving UBI TU IBI EGO reaffirms the identity bond that has always distinguished Eberhard & Co.
With CONTODAT , the Maison isn't simply remaking its watches, but rather offering a new project that combines heritage, elegance, and sportiness , reaffirming its commitment to mechanical watchmaking. A collection designed for those seeking personality, history, and uncompromising quality.
