Just shy of the 60th anniversary of the legendary Divers Sixty-Five, Oris has chosen to celebrate this milestone with a refined update, which also marks a change of name: the new Oris Divers Date . This model remains faithful to the spirit of its predecessor, but with a series of details that enhance its character and functionality.

The compact and versatile 39 mm stainless steel case stands out for its slightly revised profile, giving the watch a more solid and balanced look. The 12.1 mm thickness and 46.5 mm lugs ensure an excellent fit on the wrist, while the domed sapphire crystal creates a three-dimensional effect that enhances the depth of the dial. Available in three color variations—blue, black, and beige—the dial is enhanced by applied indexes with beveled edges and filled with Super-LumiNova, ensuring readability even in low-light conditions. The date window is located at six o'clock, discreet and perfectly integrated into the overall aesthetic.

One of the most significant improvements is the water resistance, now increased to 200 meters, making the new Divers Date a reliable companion even on the most challenging dives. The vintage-style steel bracelet with riveted links maintains the model's retro soul, while the matte ceramic rotating bezel adds robustness and modernity. Another interesting feature is the quick-release system, which allows you to easily swap the bracelet for the included rubber strap.

On a technical level, the Divers Date houses the Oris Calibre 733 automatic movement, based on the Sellita SW 200-1, visible through the exhibition caseback. With a 41-hour power reserve, stop-seconds functions, and fine-tuning, this caliber guarantees precision and reliability, staying true to Oris's philosophy of offering affordable yet high-quality mechanical timepieces.

The new Oris Divers Date doesn't revolutionize, but rather refines. Every detail has been rethought to improve a model already beloved by enthusiasts: greater robustness, new materials, and an aesthetic that balances vintage tradition and contemporary functionality. A watch that tells the story of an icon, projecting it stylishly into the future.
