The Certina DS-2 Chronograph Automatic collection represents the modern reinterpretation of one of the Swiss brand's most iconic chronographs. Inspired by the legendary DS-2 of the 1960s and 70s, this version combines vintage design, chronograph complication, and advanced mechanical technology, offering a sporty yet refined timepiece.

The heart of Certina DS-2 Chronograph Automatic watches is the A05.231 automatic movement (Valjoux base), designed to ensure high performance. This caliber operates at 4 Hz and offers up to 68 hours of power reserve, ensuring precision and reliability even after several days of disuse.

The chronograph function allows for precise measurement of time intervals, while the sub-dial layout on the dial recalls the sporty aesthetic of historical Certina models. The design maintains the typical tonneau case inspired by the 1970s, with significant dimensions (approximately 43 mm) that give it a strong wrist presence.

The case is made of 316L stainless steel, often also available with PVD treatment, and is completed by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The case back may include sapphire crystal to admire the automatic movement.

Like all Certina models, this collection also integrates the renowned DS Concept (Double Security), which guarantees high shock resistance and a reinforced structure. The watch also offers excellent water resistance up to 200 meters (20 bar), making it suitable for sports use.
